CALL TO ORDER: Kevin Foley, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM..
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: Kevin Foley, Chairman;William B. Duffy, Jr.;
John Leeman; Donald Stewart; David Torrisi; and Robert J. Halpin, Town Manager.
November 18, 1996 - Tax Classification Public Hearing - Comments were taken on
November 18, 1996 at the public hearing of Tax Classification. This hearing was continued until
November 26, 1996.
November 26, 1996 -Reconvened public hearing at the Stevens Memorial Library. The
Chairman informed the Board that Selectman that Mr. Leeman was informed by the State Ethics
Commission that he should not participate in the discussion or vote. Selectman Duffy made a
motion, seconded by David Torrisi,to establish the minimum residential factor at 1.16; vote
3-1-1 (Donald Stewart opposed and John Leeman abstained.),
