CALL TO ORDER: Rosemary Connelly Smedile called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM at Town Hall
Meeting Room.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: Rosemary Smedile, Chairman; Donald B. Stewart; Mark
J.T. Caggiano.
Thomas Licciardello, James Xenakis, Mark Rees and Raymond Santilli were absent.
COMMUNICATIONS,ANNOUNCEMENTS, AND PUBLIC COMMENT:
The North Andover High School Wrestling Team
The Board Presented Certificates of Accomplishment to the North Andover High School Wrestling Team
and coaches for winning the State Division Two Championship for 2004-2005 season. Head coach,
David Castricone; Assistant coaches, Matt Abel and Paul Luciano; Manager, Amanda Hood; and the
following team members: Andrew Bogosian, John Boston, Ben Coletti, Bob Connelly, Jim Connelly, Chris
Cote, Larry Coughlin, Kyle Dolan, Eric Edwards, Chris Farris, Matt Faucher, John Gikas, John Gottfried,
Gordy Greenberg, Chris Hamilton, Nick Hamilton, Al Hoehn, Chris Honeycutt, Jared Hood, Josh Hood,
Hohn Kindrek, Anthony Loycano, Brent Marchand, Seth McLellan, Eric Meyers, Kevin O'Neil, Anthony
Perry, Nick Padellaro, Chris Round, Pete San Antonio, Paul Scola, Conor Tierney, John Tissandier, Thom
Verano.
CONSENT ITEMS:
Mark Caggiano made a MOTION, seconded by Donald Stewart, to approve the request from Frank
Sapienza of the North Andover Lions Club to hold their annual Lions Club Circus at the Middle School on
August 16th and 17th with two shows nightly at 5:00 and 7:30 PM. Vote approved 3-0.
Mark Caggiano made a MOTION, seconded by Donald Stewart, to approve the request from Mary Alice
Rock of St. Michael parish to use Town Common on Sunday, September 11, 2005, from 7:00 AM to 5:00
PM for the annual church picnic. Vote approved 3-0.
LICENSING COMMISSIONERS:
Mark Caggiano made a MOTION, seconded by Donald Stewart, to move into Licensing.
Vote approved 3-0.
Mark made a MOTION, seconded by Rosemary Smedile, to approve the following one-day licenses for
Cynthia Rostaic of the Stevens Estate, 723 Osgood Street. Vote approved 3-0.
1. Rudert/O'Connor Wedding, July 9, 2005 from 3:00 PM— 11:00 PM, full liquor bar
2. Vollmer Outing, July 16, 2005 from 4:00 PM —9:00 PM, full liquor bar
3. McEihinney Party, July 30, 2005 from 4:00 PM—9:00 PM, full liquor bar
Mark Caggiano made a MOTION, seconded by Rosemary Smedile, to move out of Licensing. Vote
approved 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mark Caggiano made a MOTION, seconded by Donald Stewart, to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 PM.
Vote approved 3-0.
