Re: Morkeski Meadows
Dear Susan Ford,
This is in response to the complaint that you received about the trash areas at Morkeski
Meadows. I feel that the problem has been rectified due to the actions taken below, along with
the help of the residents and their health care workers putting trash inside the barrel, not on top,
and locking on the covers.
We have been checking trash areas everyday morning and night (7:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.)
and since 8/4/98 we have found only one or two trash bags on the ground due to someone not
putting it inside the barrel. We do find barrels tipped over from time to time, but covers are
still on and there is no trash on the ground.
8/3/98 Back trash area: Swept and washed down trash area. Replaced all barrels with
new ones that have locking handles on them.
Upper trash area: Swept and washed down trash area and replaced barrels with
locking ones.
8/18/98 Back trash are: Removed brush and over hanging branches from around fence.
We put stone around bottom of fence about one foot wide to discourage animals
from going under fence to get to trash.
