CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Tracy Watson called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m. at Town Hall
Meeting Room.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: Tracy Watson, Chairman; William F. Gordon, Clerk;
Rosemary Smedile, Licensing Chairman; Donald Stewart, and Andrew Maylor, Town Manager.
CONSENT ITEMS:
Approval of changing location for Elections in March 2012
Due to a damaged floor at the North Andover High School and for safety reasons the Town Clerk Joyce
Bradshaw requested that the Board of Selectmen vote and approve to move the location for the
upcoming elections in March 2012.
William Gordon made a MOTION, seconded by Rosemary Smedile, pursuant to Chapter 54 of the
General Laws the Board to designate polling location for precincts 1 through 8 be changed from its
current location at the North Andover High School, 430 Osgood Street be changed to the North Andover
Middle School, 495 Main Street for the scheduled March 6, 2012 Presidential Primary Election and the
March 27, 2012 Annual Town Election. Vote approved 4-0.
Town Clerk Joyce Bradshaw said that her staff will be sending out notices to all residents informing them
of the location change.
ADJOURNMENT:
William Gordon made a MOTION, seconded by Rosemary Smedile, to adjourn the meeting at 8:45 a.m.
Vote approved 4-0.
