VARIANCE: Upon a motion by Richard Byers and 2°d by Michael P. Liporto, the Board voted to GRANT a Variance per paragraph 7.3 Yards (setbacks) of the Zoning bylaws to allow the construction of a deck with rear setbacks of 26.35' be constructed where 30' rear setbacks are required in the R-3 Zoning District. The following members voted in favor of the Special Permit Albert P. Manzi III, Richard J. Byers Thomas Ippolito and Michael P. Liporto. Not in favor of the Special Permit, Ellen P. McIntyre. There will be no nuisance or serious hazard to vehicles or pedestrians, since there is provision for the required off-street parking. Adequate and appropriate facilities are provided to the existing residential dwelling and will be provided for the proper operation of adding the garage and room above it to the existing home. The Board finds that the addition will not be substantially more detrimental than the existing dwelling to the neighborhood and that this use, of this addition is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of this Bylaw Notes: 1.
