DelleChiaie, Pamela From: Sawyer, Susan Sent: Wednesday, December 29, 2010 9:28 AM To: Grant, Michele; DelleChiaie, Pamela Subject: Buco I spoke to Bill Buco about the food permi for Wine at the Andover McAloons. Both stores have ceased selling chips and the like this past year. Nor are they current yaoing e_tastifigs. According to his description, they do not meet the definition of a food est., so just as with the wine shop downtown, we then don't need to permit them. I will put this in writing and send it to him and place in the file. If, in the future, we find he is selling food then we will go back to permitting those establishments. Also if he wants to do wine tastings he has been told to hire a caterer or he would be in violation. Pam Please make note so that we don't send him any renewals in the future for food establishments nor do we need to do future inspections. If we could get Melillo to stop selling popcorn and food maybe we could get them off the list too someday. As far as a health risk goes, these types of establishments just don't warrant our attention really. The Vineyard permit should be adjusted as well. Lets look at it. What do they sell as opposed to the Meat House. Just want to make sure we are being fair. Thank you Susan Swan SLrUyeA J ub is J&aetfi. Richdale and DD do. Do you want me to call Bill directly and see if that dumpster is used by him, or other establishments, or wait until Michele goes out? Also, on another note, Bill sent in an application for a tobacco permit on 3/12/07 for which he asked me to hold the application until his new store was closer to opening - Wine and Beers At the Andovers, 342 Winthrop Avenue. I left him messages about possibly other applications, food and dumpster there, etc., and have not heard back. In fact, I do not know if they are actually open. So, whoever speaks to him first, could this be mentioned as well? Thanks. June 11, 2007 An abutter to McAloons says that a new additional dumpster has appeared in the past week. It is not in the enclosure and could someone check it out. She stated that she called about the same thing awhile back and said after she called the dumpster disappeared.? I don't recall. If it doesn't go away she will call again and see what's up. Do not bend the base when you come to an inside corner. Cut the base leaving enough margin for exact trimming. Make sure you cut the base to the contour of the wall fitting it tightly to the corner. 3. Take your utility knife and cut the toe with a back cut. This will give you a tight fit with no gaps between the wall and the base and eliminates the problems with double cutting on inside corners. OUTSIDE CORNER INSTALLATION 1. Make sure to mark a line on the back of the base using the contour of the wall. DO NOT cut directly on the center of the line. 2. Using a top -set gouge, cut along the right side of the line where the base will bend around the corner. Place your top -set gouge right below the top seal of the base under the lip. Starting at that point, run the gouge to just below the bottom. Be careful not to cut through the base at the top and bottom edges. 3. Wrapping comers: A great deal of stress is put at the bottom of the base when wrap- ping. To relieve this stress, make two relief cuts, one on each side of the bend. Starting your fit at the toe, wrap the base around the corner. 02002 Roppe Corporation. Printed in the U.S.A. 1-800-537-9527 ■ www.roppe.com ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ROPPE.
