Attention Mr. R. Therriault Notice of Violation N.A.-0013
Gentlemen:
Personell of the Department of Environmental Quality Engineering have
observed a violation, as indicated below, of the"Regulations for the Control of
Air Pollution in the Air Pollution Control District" as contained in :310 CMR
7.00, which were adopted under the provisions of Section 142B and 142D, Chapter
: :1:11 , of the General Laws.
APCD Regulation: :310 CMR• 7.04(2) (a) (smoke density indicator not maintained)
Date observed: February 10,: 1981
Violation Site: 6 Elm Street, North Andover, Massachusetts
Date of Receipt of Reply: March 9, 1981
If prompt action is not taken to stop violation of :310 CMR 7.00, the
Department will be obliged to use measures available to it under Section 142B,
Chapter :1:11 , General Laws.
It is requested that you inform the Region in writing on or before
the date indicated for reply, of the action you have taken or intend to take,
to prevent further violations of the Regulations, which were adopted to prevent
air pollution and to enhance the quality of the ambient air.
