I did receive your photos as well. Please understand that the decision of an inspector, on whether an inspection warrants an Order Letter or not, is based on purely visual verification of violations when we are on site. In your case, the damage was out of view, likely occurring mostly behind the walls; and after the health inspection had increased to a more obvious stage. We are truly glad that RC is addressing your needs as Michele noted below. Sometimes it happens that our visual inspections do not see what is behind walls, but that is the basis of the state minimum sanitation standards. There must be clear evidence for this office to take action and based on discussions and review of the photos, at the time of the inspection there was no violation of the minimum standards that warranted an Order. Your message last week indicated that there should be no violations, as you were put up in a hotel and RC has completed their renovation. Hence there was no need for us to see correction of violations that we had not documented as Michele noted. If we did not see it, we would not know what was corrected either. I understand that conditions must have moved to a higher level and that Royal Crest responded by executing correction, but that is essence of what an Order Letter would hope to accomplish. Thank you Susan Sawyer From: Grant, Michele Sent: Friday, January 13, 2012 3:01 PM To: 'Shayne R.
