We: are'in receipt of your list of questions afteryour'review of Buildings .2 and 3 and we offer.the'following in
response:
1. Your concern with the adaptability of•each unit:
a." Blocking:,will be installed within, the walls of each bathroom for future adaptability. We have'
enclosed a detaile&ske,tch of the locations of this.blocking for your use: (Attachment #l)'
b'.:Our engiineer,'.Bob Jennings"of Mechanical Innovations, Inc., has "spoken`with Thomas Hopkins .
' of the Mass. Architectural,Access"Board. As a result,"`we have revised Bathroom Details 3;.4; &:
6.on Drawing A8'to provide the proper clearance and adaptability in .those bathrooms. Sketches
of the revised.bathroonis are enclosed for your record. (Attachment #2)

3. The demising wall between units (Type 3) is a 3 5/8" 25 GA metal studs'24" OC with resilient furring
and l ,layer of 5/8" GWR on one side and 2.layers of 5/8" GWB on the other side. It also has sound,
insulation and is a full height partition, providing a STC. rating. of 55. This Wallis designed under UL' > -
AssemblyU419. ,
-4. The attachment of the false chimney has been submitted to our structural engineer (JSN Associates) and '
revised:. We have.included a sketch.of the revision for your,reference: (Attachment. #4)
5. `Kitchen wall cabinets -will be supported with in -wall blocking as shown on the sketch enclosed herein.'
