The Board of Health contacted the North Andover Housing
Authority regarding a complaint from an outside neighbor who
stated there is trash, garbage, and flies all over Francis St.
on trash day.
This problem must be resolved immediately. It is very
unfair that your neighbors have to tolerate this mess.
All trash must be put out in barrels with covers, marked
with your name, on Monday morning and all trash barrels must
be picked up and put back in your yard on the same day. If
any tenant does not put their trash out, the Maintenance Staff
will put it out and you will be charged a $5.00 fee. The Maint-
enance Staff will check on Tuesday morning to make sure all
barrels have been put back in each yard and if they are not,
they will put the barrels back and you will again be charged
a $5.00 fee.
All barrels should be washed out with ammonia on a regular
basis to help prevent odors and maggots from forming in the
barrels.
If a particular tenant does not cooperate with helping
to alleviate this problem, they will be cited by the Board of
Health and Administrative Action will be taken.
Please contact the office if you do not have two barrels.
