SCOPE OF SERVICES Our services under this contract would entail conducting a structural peer review in accordance with the Massachusetts State Building Cotte, 780 CMR 110.11 and Appendix "I" and as discussed below. During our peer review, we may communicate with the SER directly as required to discuss any questions on the project and have any questions answered and concerns addressed with regard to our review. We will draft and issue a memo, or letter, presenting our questions, comments, con- cerns, etc. to the SER for their review and written response. if multiple Iterations are required during this review additional fees may be required by our office. typically, this process results in either our office accepting the SER's justification, through supporting documentation submitted to our office, or the SER adjusts or revises the structural drawings to accommodate our concerns. Drawings must be essentially complete, well detailed and coordinated so as not to hinder our review. If drawings are incomplete or poorly coordinated we will return them without review or, seek additional compensation for having to provide services in a fragmented manner. ✓ List of any and all special structural loading conditions not specifically quantified on the construction documents (i.e. provisions for mechanical, electrical and fire protec- tion equipment, components and systems, etc.) ✓ Complete set of ,Architectural drawings_ ✓ Site plan with finish grade and building floor elevations. ✓ Complete set of Mechanical drawings (i.e. plumbing, HVAC, electrical and lire protec- tion) with weights of equipment heavier than 250 pounds. ✓ Complete project specifications for all structural components. Structural calculations prepared by the SER may be required for our use and review upon request by our office. Once we receive all the above listed information and documentation, it will take no longer than 20 working days for us to issue our report. 'Phis assumes that we receive prompt cooperation and responses from the SER. Discovering, documenting, discuss - inn and mitigating �u1 excessive number of deficiencies would take much more time then what caul be included in a competitive proposal such as this.
