Sample 17062-8112 FP Library Sarn le was taken from Spring Hilt's retention libranr of products- and is from the same 11/18/09 production date as the container the'North Andover Market Basket Store manager released to me. When reviewing the reports- you will notice that each sample report is comprised of 2 parts (the actual water sample and a Trip Blank*), that Pace AnalN-tical Services' detected na hthalene in the complaint sample and that no elevated parameters were detected in the libraT sample. As you already know, Spring Hill initiated an intensive investigation upon retrieving the complaint container that included notification of the complaint to the MA Division of f=ood and Drugs, food Protection Program- the North Andover Board of Health and the Federal f=ood and Drug Administration. After a thorough review of the affected code date's production and Sanitation processes and records and that no other complaints were reported prior or filen wiias your complaint. Spring Hill could not determine the cause or reason why the naphthalene was present in the cc?mplaint water_ Sprin Hill is vigilant about protecting the quality, Safety and security of our source water and products. Mr_ Twomey stated that he wasn't concerned about the cost, his concern was about the safety of the water.
