Is this the person that called before? -----Original Message ----- From: Huberdeau, Danielle [mailto: Danielle. I am not sure exactly who to contact in regards to rT ins. Please, forward this to the appropriate department. Thank you. Since all the snow, I have had problems. Starting Tuesday night (Jan 25) I noticed a water stain/leak from the ceiling. I called maintenance, since .then nothing has been done and the conditions have only gotten worse. I have about 10 separate leaks coming for the ceiling, wall and floor. One has gotten so bad, the ceiling colapsed in my son's bedroom. My front door is frozen shut from the water leaking. I am concerned for the safety of me and my son. I had called maintenance explaining that the ceiling was going to colapse and they didn't seem interested, like I was telling stories. When it finally did colapse, all they did was put plastic over the 4x2 ft. hole and they claimed someone would be out last Friday to fix the problem. Nobody was at my place on Friday, so that night I called the office asking if I could have an explanation why nothing as been done and when will something be done. I spoke with Kim, the Assistant Office Manager and she told me it would take 2 weeks to fix because they wanted to first get all the snow off the roof. There has only been one day that I have witnessed anyone taking snow off the roofs and it has been a week since then and still nothing as been done. I am extremely concerned for the mold/mildew build up from my rug and insulation in the walls and ceilings from being wet. Both my son and I have sinus and allergy issues as it is. I don't want to sleep in my room because I am afraid to breathe the spores in from the mold bacteria. I believe this issue is a huge concern for Safety. The first day they were out looking at the leak, something should have been done so it wouldn't colapse. I do not want to be taken advantage of, I want something done! This message has been sent to both the State of Massachusetts Building Inspector's office as well as the North Andover office, but I have not gotten a response, so I thought I would try the Safety department.
