In regards to our on site meeting at the Holly ridge Sewer Pump Station I am
corresponding to you to review some work which needs to be done there.
Request permission to construct a 20 ft by 20 ft asphalt parking area on the easement
property for the sewer crew to park truck 54 when inspecting or servicing this station.
Mud and water ponding make it very difficult to park close by, and dangerous as well.
One of the sewer crew staff was almost struck by a car when he was getting out of the
truck, which was parked along side of and install Holly Ridge Rd.
Also I am requesting permission to be allowed to dig the ground up on one side of the
station to allow for the installation of a emergency bypass plumbing system to be
installed.
Other work needed is to raise the diesel fuel tank for the emergency power generator and
install it within a retainer tank to contain spills and leakage. This one job will need
some further in depth investigation as to determine the best method to take.
