Re: Offsite Wetland /Approxiinate Location, Lot 112 Great Pond Road (Site).
Dear Ms. McKoy:
This letter is by request of Mr. Joseph Pelich regarding the above referenced Site. On
July 23, 2003, Seekamp Environmental Consulting, Inc. (SEC) by request of Julie
Perrino, NACC Conservation Administrator at that time, visited this Site in order to
review tho wetland delineation placed by Epsilon Associates, Inc. (Epsilon). Present
during the site walk was Ms. Julie Perrino, Conservation Administrator'. SEC followed
this visit with a letter dated September 8, 2005 to the NACC regarding our review. In
light of Julie's recent departure from the Town of North Andover Planning Department
Mr. Pelich wanted information for the record as to the approximate location of an off-site
wetland referred to in our letter. SEC focused our earlier review on the portion of the EA
flag line at flags EA 15 through EA25.
The area ofquestion is an offsite wooded wetland located upslope from the Site. This
area was found to not have a connection by a continuous defined channel to down slope
wetland areas on the Site. SK recommended in our earlier review letter that the
applicant verify the actual location of this offsite, upslope wetland. Without benefit of
this field location, based on ny memory of the Site the off-site upslope wetland is located
approximately 30 feet away from what I am assuming to be the property boundary in this
location.
