Amy Gallagher Bldg 49 Apt 7 Complaining about Fumes —from joint compounds and adhesives that were used to do repairs in the unit. Tenant requested the MSDS sheets, said it was so bad they stayed in a hotel and said she was going to call the Health Dept. Dena Stated they did comply, the MSDS sheets are available to her. These are common materials used in Royal crest. They are not disputing that these things could smell, but they are non-toxic compounds according to her. Thx S Royal Crest Apartments Buildinz 44 Apartment #2 Date: 9-5-2008 Date 9-2-08 The Health Department received a phone call from Diaggo, the son-in-law of Amanda Jimanez wanting to file a complaint. We asked Diaggo to have his mother-in-law contact us. 9-3-08 Amanda came down to sign the complaint form. Mark Johnson of Royal Crest Estates contacts the health department to let us know they have an apartment in which .a mold complaint has been filled out. They have put Amanda in a hotel. She is leaving for a vacation at the end of the week until the 16th of September. Royal Crest has hired Air Duct Services out of Dedham to come in on Friday to inspect the apartment. Royal Crest has requested access to remove and clean all clothing, furniture etc. The tenant denies Royal Crest access. 9-5-08 The health dept. goes in for an inspection. Finds minimal mold. Royal Crest has set-up another appointment with Air Duct for the following week. Upon entering the apartment there are multiple signs indicating that no work is to be preformed. The Health Department finds minimal mold. Royal Crest will go forward with services when the tenant returns. The Health Department agrees with how Mark Johnson would like to proceed. The Health Department will not be writing an order letter to Royal Crest. Royal Crest appears to moving to correct the problems appropriately. If the tenant does not allow Royal Crest access to inspect and correct this problem, the Health Department will be pressed to Order the tenant to allow the Property Management access to correct the problems.
