According to Mr. Foster, originally the house was built with a dirt crawl-space and someone filled this area with sawdust. The sawdust and the dampness attracted the termites due to the ideal conditions present for their multiplication. The paneling upstairs is soft and shredded. Below these walls the sill is all puckered. The floor has been jacked up and the termites have gotten into the walls and jcl ts. Mr. Foster recommended that if it was his own house he wouldn't want to spend any money fixing it up because there would be no ~tee that there would not be any more termites, therefore it should be torn down and rebuilt.
