The BOARD C~ APPEALS held a Special Meeting on Thursday evening, July ~5, ~976
at 7 P.M. in the Town Office Meeting Rocm. The following members were present and
voting: ~rank Serio, Jr., Chairman; Alfred E. Frizelle, Esq., Vice-Chairman; R. Louis
DiFruscio, Clerk; and Ralph R. Joyce, Es~..
There were 13 visitors present.
PUBLIC HEARINO: DAVID W. & SHIRLEY ABBOTT - the Clerk read the legal notice requesting
variance of Sec. 6.3 and Table 2 on premises located at ~029 Johnson ~t. The Abbotts
were present. House was built 3 years ago and when it came time for bank to secure a
mortgage during the process of surveying it was found to be only 22 f~. from the side
line. The passing of the house is tied up because of this situation and the buyer has
already sold his house. Mr. Abbott stated that he ran into ledge and moved the house
too far . Andrew Moynihan is willing to buy the house and doesn't see any problem
with the location. The area in question is all tree covered.
Letter dated July 15, ~976 from Planning Board was read and on file.
No opposition. Motion ~yFrizelle to ORANT the variance as requested and BOARD will
sign plans subject to C. E. Cyr placing signature on same. Second by Di~ruscio and
unanimous vote.
The meeting adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
