RE: 72 Great Pond Rd. house lot
The construction of a single family home is proposed on the lot at #72 Great Pond Road and a roadway
construction waiver has been requested. The DPW does not oppose the waiver of the roadway
construction provided that the resulting construction will not impose additional responsibilities upon
the department. No lot lines are changing; no easements are being created; and no property is being
exchanged. The maintenance of access for public safety vehicles and other requirements will be the
responsibility of the homeowner. Trash and recycle pick up will be curbside on Great Pond Rd. The
DPW responsibilities will end at the property’s Great Pond Rd. front lot line/right of way.
