August 29, 2013 Dear Members; On behalf the applicants Dehullu Homes – Steve Dehullu, we respectfully submit the following comments in response to the Stormwater review prepared by Eggleston Environmental, dated July 22, 2013. Item 1 – We agree with this interpretation. Item 2 – We have revised the plan to include the 100 ft setback from the ILSF as part of the Non- Disturbance Zone. Item 3 – We have applied for a variance for construction of a structure in the Non-Disturbance Zone with the ZBA, we have had an initial hearing on August 13, this was continued until September 10 so that we could address the soil conditions and Engineering Review comments. We anticipate closure on that date. Item 4 – We agree an are seeking the Special Permit for these activities in conjunction with the construction of the structure. Item 5 – Certification by my associate, Thad D Berry, PE as required by the WPD has been provided. Item 6 – We have prepared an alternative analysis plan which was presented to the ZBA as well as a descriptive narrative supporting our request for a variance, and they have been submitted to the ZBA as well as the Planning Board. Item 7 – We were granted permission to perform the soil testing in the location closest to the street. On August 16 we logged the soils at that location, it is depicted on the design plans. Our results were consistent with the neighboring lots results. No changes in our design were required. The soil report has been submitted to the Panning Board and ZBA. Item – 8 Design construction details have been provided. Item – 9 We revised the proposed grading to and added notation to the drive to indicate that the drive is to slope toward the infiltration trench. Item – 10 We moved the utilities approx 10’ towards the right and shifted the erosion control (limit of work and disturbance) as well. Item – 11 We have prepared a Landscape Plan which specifies native species. A list of allowable planting for the annuals and garden and water feature have been provided to allow some latitude for the planting areas to be tailored to the buyers desires. Item 12 The applicant is agreeable to the suggested conditions and deed restrictions. Item 13 Architectural plan had been submitted as part of the ZBA application, copies have been provided to the Planning Board. Item 14 Maintenance of the infiltration trench and roof runoff infiltration chambers is included on the Construction detail plan. Item 15 A construction sequence was included as part of the NOI filing with the Conservation Commission. Copies of the NOI have been provided to the Planning Board and ZBA.
