FIELDS COMMITTEE MEETING
MINUTES 11/30/15
ATTENDEES: Rick Gorman, Dave Johns, Steve Vetere, Rick Green , Derek Wessel, Terry Holland,
David Brown.
• DPW End of Season Needs: Tim please take a look at REYNOLDS & SHARPNERS on
securing boulders etc. to prevent motor vehicles being able to get on field this winter.
Irrigation at all fields appears to be winterized. All other winter DPW needs appear to be
done
• Rick Green finalized updates on Dale Street and McEvoy. Congrats everyone. Great job
• Initial Middle School project committee meeting is taking place next week.Terry and
Rick Green are the reps on this committee and will keep us updated. We also had a
healthy discussion on needs we see as part of the project
• Terry gave a CPA update to the committee on possible long term use of Atwood
property if it becomes available to the town
• Rick, Rick &Terry talked about the maintenance issues we see that need to be
addressed with Bruce and Tim. Committee agreed with bundling items. Subcommittee
meeting with DPW within 2 weeks
• Brief discussion on maybe looking at doing some work at Gallagher in the near future
• Brief discussion on spring needs
• All leagues are asked to submit their spring needs by February 151h
• A REMINDER THAT THE $10 NEW FIELDS/FACILITY FEES IS DUE IN JANUARY. PLEASE
STAY ON TOP OF THIS AND LETS LOOK AT A DEADLINE OF JANUARY 20TH SO I CAN HAVE
SELECTMAN ACCEPT DONATION IN FEBRUARY
