NORTH ANDOVER FIELDS COMMITTEE
2/24/16 MINUTES
Attending: Rick Gorman, Rick Green, Scott Young, Terry Holland, David Brown, Dave
Johns, Steve Vetere, Tim Willet
1. Discussion around NEW FIELDS/FACILITY fund. Collection of 2015 checks will
be finalized once NABC submits check next week. Board of Selectman will
accept donations in March. All groups committed to continuing program in 2016
2. Pre-season DPW needs: All youth groups had an opportunity to discuss with Tim
any needs from DPW. All groups will submit in writing needs for March meeting
3. Milk Street property was discussed and committee update from Terry and CPC.
Handout was given to everyone. Looks like project may actually proceed slower
than first thought and may actually be a CPC grant request in 2017
4. Mcevoy/ Dale Street and Sharpners maintenance needs were discussed

SHARPNERS - WELL ISSUE, DROP PIPE AND PUMP REPLACEMENT
DALE STREET - FENCE INSTALLMENT BY NEIGHBOR AND NETTING
COMMITTEE RECOMMENDED UNANIMOUSLY FOR THE SHARPNERS
AND DALE STREET WORK TO THE TOWN MANAGER TO ALLOCATE $110, 00.00
OUT OF NEW FIELDS / FACILITY FUND TO PAY FOR THE PROJECT. RICK
GREEN TO MEET WITH DEREK WESSEL ABOUT NASA CONTRIBUTING TO
NETTING WORK AT DALE
5. Rick Green and Terry Holland gave a presentation on the initial plans for the
Middle School Redevelopment project and how the prelim money was expended. We
are looking at possibly a five year plan to complete the project. Rick and Terry will give
a report every Fields Committee meeting
6. Scott Young gave a presentation on high school sports and spring needs
7. ALL SPRING 2016 FIELD NEEDS TO BE SENT TO ME BY FRIDAY. All I have
received right now is Softball
8. Committee asked Tim to look at the area where trees were cut down at Reynolds
to provide some barrier so cars can not access the field
9. We then reviewed all spring outside requests
LITTLE SPROUTS USE OF SHARPNERS SOCCER FIELDS DURING THE
HOURS OF 9-5 DURING THE SUMMER. APPROVED, RICK WILL HAVE SIT
DOWN WITH LITTLE SPROUTS ON PLn
MENS SOFTBALL RENTAL ON SATURDAYS THIS SPRING. REJECTED AS
AVAILABILITY
BRITTNEY SAVOIA RENTAL OF DRUMMOND FIELD ON JUNE 4TH 8AM -
DUSK FOR OPIATE AWARENESS SOFTBALL TOURNEY APPROVED
FC SUBCOMMITEE (RICK, RICK, TERRY) WILL HAVE MEETING WITH
BRUCE THIBODEAU AND TIM WILLET THURSDAY MARCH 3RD 10:30 AM
