1. Ask the Town Manager- Great discussion with Town Manager Andrew Maylor.
Discussion centered on:
• 1600 Osgood fields- Outcome of Town meeting
• Long Range Field Planning
• Middle School Athletic Fields
• Collaborating more with Merrimack College
• NAHS Baseball field /Turf renovations at NAHS
2. Youth organizations discussed DPW needs for the remainder of spring season with Tim
Willet
3. Update on approved projects at Carl Thomas and McEvoy Fields. Things are on schedule
for netting systems and shed at Mcevoy
4. Update on Sharpners Fields Improvement plans - Rick will make full status update at our
June meeting
5. Update was given on Middle School Fields Project by Rick, Terry and Derek. Money was
appropriated at Town meeting and design work will continue after July 1
6. Dave Brown gave an update on Diamond Sub-committee. Rick to speak to town manager
about possible use of baseball diamond at Merrimack College this summer
7. Clarification on Mcevoy field sponsorship and facility cleaning with Compass Cleaning.
Cleaning company is just waiting for approval from Boosters Club to begin. Good discussion
around only having bathrooms open during actual field use
8. All summer field use request should be forwarded to Rick by June 1 st
9. Our June meeting we will begin the process of reviewing and updating Field
Sponsorship/Adoption policy
