EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Executive Session convened at 7 :00 p.m.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: Rosemary Smedile, Chairman; James Xenakis;
Wendy Wakeman; Donald Stewart; Susan Haltmaier; Mark Rees, Town Manager; Ray Santilli,
Assistant Town Manager.
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
Wendy Wakeman made a MOTION, seconded by James Xenakis, to move into Executive
Session to discuss Collective Bargaining with Police Department. Vote approved 5-0.
The Board of Selectmen was individually polled and each voted to move into Executive Session.
Vote approved 5-0.
Ray Santilli also said that the Town would institute a bi-weekly paycheck for all Town-wide
employees by April 2003. It is estimated this will save the Town about 35%-40% of expenses
every week.
Note: Wendy Wakeman asked that minutes be stamped draft until the Board votes its approval.
ADJOURNMENT:
Wendy Wakeman made a MOTION, seconded by Susan Haltmaier, to move out of Executive
Session. Vote approved 5-0.
