EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Executive Session convened at 7:05 p.m.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: Thomas Licciardello, Chairman; James Xenakis; Daniel P.
Lanen; Mark J.T. Caggiano; Rosemary Connelly Smedile, Mark Rees, Town Manager; Ray Santilli,
Assistant Town Manager.
The Board of Selectmen was individually polled and each voted to move into Executive Session. Vote
approved 5-0.
Greenery Property
Because the Board is placing an article on the annual town meeting warrant to acquire the Greenery
Property by purchase or by imminent domain, the auction of such property has been delayed. Town
Counsel and the attorney of property owner are recommending that the Board enter into a compromise
agreement. This agreement will allow both parties to discuss a potential purchase of the property without
anything that is said being admissible in the event that there is an eminent domain taking.
The Board TABLED this item and suggested that Town Counsel narrow the scope of what the document
means and then bring it back before the Board.

^ James Xenakis made a MOTION, seconded by Mark Caggiano, to move out of Executive Session. Vote
approved 4-0.
