EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Executive Session convened at 6:07 p.m.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: Thomas Licciardello, Chairman; James Xenakis; Mark J.T.
Caggiano; Rosemary Connelly Smedile, Mark Rees, Town Manager; Ray Santilli, Assistant Town
Manager.
The Board of Selectmen was individually polled and each voted to move into Executive Session. Vote
approved 3-0.
Collective Bargaining
Police Contract
The Town Manager said there would be a shortfall of$254,000 in the FY08 budget to pay for the Police
Officers contract. The Town Manager suggested shifting money from the Firefighters Department FY07
Budget to the Police Department Budget and then in FY08 shift the money back to the Firefighters
Department.
Police Candidate Interviews
Chairman Licciardello suggested there be no open public comment during the interview session. He also
asked Ray Santilli to prepare questions to ask each candidate.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mark Caggiano made a MOTION, seconded by Rosemary Smedile, to move out of Executive Session.
^ Vote approved 4-0-0.
