EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Executive Session convened at 7:05 P.M.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: James Xenakis Chairman; Thomas Licciardello; Daniel P.
Lanen; Mark J.T. Caggiano; Rosemary Connelly Smedile, Mark Rees, Town Manager; Ray Santilli, Assistant
Town Manager.
The Board of Selectmen was individually polled and each voted to move into Executive Session. Vote
approved 5-0.
Note: Daniel Lanen recused
Collective Baraainina Lead Dispatcher Position
As authorized by the Board, this matter has been resolved. There would be a salary scale of three steps at
an increase of 17.5%differential between regular dispatchers and the lead dispatcher position. The Lead
Dispatcher, at minimum,would be earning 6.7% more than the highest paid dispatcher.
Mark Caggiano made a MOTION, seconded by Thomas Licciardello, to agree and amend the current
collective bargaining agreement(July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2008) by implementing a Lead Dispatcher
position, effective August 20, 2007. Vote approved 4-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
Thomas Licciardello made a MOTION, seconded by Rosemary Smedile, to move out of Executive Session.
Vote approved 4-0.
