EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Executive Session convened at 6:45 P.M.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: James Xenakis Chairman; Thomas Licciardello; Daniel P.
Lanen; Mark J.T. Caggiano; Rosemary Connelly Smedile, Mark Rees, Town Manager; Ray Santilli,
Assistant Town Manager.
The Board of Selectmen was individually polled and each voted to move into Executive Session.
Vote approved 5-0.
Collective Bargaining
Pending Litigation
Selectman Xenakis said that Alfred Perry had not paid his outstanding debt for health insurance to the
Town and that the Town should consider litigation.
Assistant Town Manager Ray Santilli spoke to a collection attorney Wendy Heller,who is willing to take
on the rase. The fee structure is either$200 per hour or 33%contingency fee and a$200 filing fee and
$30-$50 processing fee for a constable.
Thomas Licciardello made a MOTION, seconded by Daniel Lanen, to obtain special counsel for debt
collection payment by 33% contingency fee. Vote approved 5-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
^ Thomas Licciardello made a MOTION, seconded by Mark Caggiano, to move out of Executive Session.
Vote approved 5-0.
