EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Executive Session convened at 7:00 p.m.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: Chairman Rosemary Connelly Smedile, Clerk Mark J.T.
Caggiano; Daniel P. Lanen; Tracy M. Watson; Mark Rees, Town Manager; Ray Santilli,Assistant Town
Manager.
The Board of Selectmen was individually polled and each voted to move into Executive Session. Vote
approved 4-0.
Note: Richard Nardella was absent.
Collective Bargaining
Note., Daniel Lanen recused
Ratification of NEPBA Local 2 Contract
The Police formally ratified the contract and the Board of Selectmen was requested to also formally ratify
the respective collective bargaining contract.
Tracy Watson made a MOTION, seconded by Mark Caggiano, to formally ratify a two-year contract with
the New England Police Benevolent Association (NEPBA Local 2)for the period of July 1, 2007 through
June 30, 2009. Vote approved 3-0-1.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mark Caggiano made a MOTION, seconded by Tracy Watson, to move out of Executive Session. Vote
approved 4-0.
