EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Executive Session convened at 7:00 P.M.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: Chairman Rosemary Connelly Smedile, Clerk
Tracy M. Watson; William F. Gordon; Daniel P. Lanen; Mark Rees, Town Manager; Ray Santilli,
Assistant Town Manager.
The Board of Selectmen was individually polled and each voted to move into Executive Session.
Vote approved 4-0.
Note: Richard Nardella was absent
Collective Bargaining Firefighters
Bargaining with Non-Union Employee
The Town Manager's employment contract with the Town expires on September 4, 2009. The
Town Manager would like to commence discussions with the Board regarding its renewal and
recommended that the Board appoint a subcommittee to begin working with him on this matter.
Rosemary Smedile and William Gordon offered to be a sub-committee to work with the Town
Manager on renewing his contract and to report to the Board.
ADJOURNMENT:
William Gordon made a MOTION, seconded by Daniel Lanen, to move out of Executive
Session. Vote approved 4-0.
