EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Executive Session convened at 6:07 p.m.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: Chairman Tracy M.Watson; Clerk Rosemary Connelly
Smedile;William F. Gordon; Town Manager Mark Rees.
Note: Richard Nardella and Ray Santilli were absent.
The Board of Selectmen was individually polled and each voted to move into Executive Session. Vote
approved 4-0.
Note: Daniel Lanen recused
Collective Bargaining

Note: Town Manager, Mark Rees recused
Negotiations with Non-Union employee
The Board of Selectmen discussed its approach towards negotiating a contract renewal with the Town
Manager and asked for copies of the Town Manager's previous contracts, previous reviews, copies of
executive session minutes for the last negotiating session and a copy of the Policy Manual for non-union
employees.
The Board discussed options that the sub-committee could discuss with the Town Manager such as what
does the Board want to see accomplished in the next year and what the Town Manager's vision is for the
next year, as well as vacation and car allowance.
After the sub-committee meets with the Town Manager and gets an idea of what the Town Manager is
looking for they will report back to the board as to their meeting.
ADJOURMENT:
Daniel Lanen made a MOTION, seconded by Rosemary Smedile, to move out of Executive Session.
Vote approved 4-0.
