HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-04-26 Board of Selectmen Executive Minutes BOARD OF SELECTMEN EXECUTIVE MINUTES APRIL 26, 2010 EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Executive Session convened at 7:00 P.M. ATTENDANCE: The following were present: Chairman Tracy M.Watson;William F. Gordon; Daniel Laren, Town Manager Mark Rees;Assistant Town Manager Ray Santilli. Note: Richard Nardella and Rosemary Smedile were absent. EXECUTIVE SESSION: William Gordon made a MOTION, seconded by Daniel Laren,to move into Executive Session to discuss Real Estate Matters and Collective Bargaining and to delete Personnel Matter. Roll Call vote: William Gordon yes, Daniel Laren, yes, and Tracy Watson yes. Vole approved 3-0. Collective Barcaininc Note: Richard Nardella arrived at 7:15 p.m. Note: Rosemary Smedile arrived at 7:20 p.m. Real Estate Matters The Town Manager said that the Town received two"Request for Interest" proposals for Town Property, one for the current police station and one for the former Bradstreet School. Philip Giffee Executive Director of NOAH is interested in the current police station located at 566 Main Street and surrounding property for redevelopment of additional housing. ^ Alex Moody and Shelly Kochanski of Larry Piatelli Academy is interested in the former Bradstreet School property located on 70 Main Street in rehabilitating the building for use as a co-educational private prep academy for students from grades 7 through 12. ADJOURMENT: Rosemary Smedile made a MOTION, seconded by William Gordon,to move out of Executive Session. Vote approved 5-0. Respectfully submitted, Adele J. Johnson, Administrative Secretary
