EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Executive Session convened at 6:00 P.M.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: Chairman Daniel Lanen; Clerk William F. Gordon; Richard
Nardella, Vice Chairman; Town Manager Mark Rees; and Assistant Town Manager Ray Santilli.
Note: Tracy Watson was absent
William Gordon made a MOTION, seconded by Richard Nardella, to move into Executive Session to
discuss Collective Bargaining. Roll Call vote: William Gordon yes, Richard Nardella yes, Daniel Laren
yes. Vote approved 3-0.
Chairman Daniel Lanen declared that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining
position of the Selectmen.
Collective Bargaining Agreements—AFSCME Group Contracts
Assistant Town Manager Ray Santilli confirmed that the DPW and the Professional Librarians Unions has
ratified the collective bargaining agreement.
The Board was advised that they could announce the settlement of the DPW and Professional Librarians
collective bargaining agreements during Open Session.
The Municipal Clerical Union will be meeting next week and expected to vote on their collective
^ bargaining agreement.
Note: Rosemary Smedile arrived at 6:30 p.m.
Note: Police Chief Richard Stanley was present

ADJOURMENT:
Richard Nardella made a MOTION, seconded by William Gordon, to move out of Executive Session.
Vote approved 4-0.
