BOARD OF SELECTMEN MINUTES December 27, 2018
CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Regina Kean called the meeting to order at 5:00PM in the Town
.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: Chairman Regina Kean, Clerk Phil DeCologero, Licensing
Chairman, Richard Vaillancourt, Rosemary Smedile, Town Manager Andrew Maylor and Executive
Assistant, Laurie Burzlaff.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Executive session-M.G.L. Chapter 30A, §21(a) reason #2-to conduct contract negotiations with non-union
personnel
Rosemary Smedile made a MOTION, seconded by Richard Vaillancourt that the Board of
Selectmen enter into Executive Session for Reason #2 under MGL Chapter 30A Section 21(a), to
conduct contract negotiations with non-union personnel not to return to open session. Roll call
vote- Vaillancourt-yes; Kean-yes; Smedile-yes; DeCologero-yes. Motion approved 5-0.
The Town Manager informed the Board that he is in the process of negotiating a position with the state.
ADJOURNMENT:
Rosemary Smedile made a MOTION, seconded by Richard Vaillancourt, to adjourn the executive
session at 5:15 p.m. Roll call vote: Kean-yes, Smedile-yes, Vaillancourt-yes, DeCologero-yes.
