Members absent: Jay Dowd - Martha Wolfenden- Jan Williams II.Minutes of November, 2019 meting accepted unanimously III STEVENS LIBRARY - Kathy Szyska, Chairman explained the the repair work scheduled for the front entrance of the Stevens Library. She passed around photos of the areas where repair work is needed. The NAHC was requested to write a letter of support for this repair work. The Commission agreed unanimously to send a letter of support. IV. STEVENS ESTATE (Built in 1884) - C.J. GANGI, The Commission's representative on the recently- organized Stevens Estate Committee gave an overview of the first three meetings. A. Jim LaFond is the Chairman of the Committee. C.J. explained that he is a member of the Long Range Goals Board. At the first meeting Steve Foster gave an overview of repairs completed and improvements needed at the Estate. B. At the third meeting Joanna Ouellette, Manager, discussed staffing needs for events. C. Financial ups and downs were presented to the Committee members. C.J. mentioned that monies from a cell tower on the grounds could be used for the Estate (instead of going to the Town budget.) V. OLD BURYING GROUND - Jim Wefers and Jay Dowd reported that they had successfully moved OBG stone fragments to the Parson Barnard Barn for safekeeping . This action was discussed at a prior meeting and the Historical Society was notified by letter and had given permission for the fragments to be stored in the Parson Barnard barn. The student group from Phillips, led byProfessor Don Slater, may request access in the future to attempt to match fragments etc. VI. MASTER PLAN COMMITTEE - Jay Dowd was appointed by Chairman Szyska to represent the NAHC on the NORTH ANDOVER MASTER PLAN COMMITTEE. VII. OPEN MEETING LAW AND CONFLICT OF INTEREST COMMITTEE . On February 4 Jillian Brothers will conduct a meeting on these topics. Jim Wefers was appointed by the Chairman to attend the meeting as a representative of the NAHC. THE NEXT MEETING OF THE NORTH ANDOVER HISTORICAL COMMISSION WILL BE HELD MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10 AT 4PM AT TOWN HALL
