Minutes from January Meeting accepted as read. II Report from James Wefers - Jillian Brothers held a meeting on protocol for Town committee members. 1. When a building is inspected by NAHC for possible Demolition Delay...this cannot be discussed outside of an official meeting. 2.No official meetings can be held in private homes. III. Report from the CPA from C.J. Gangi regarding requetss for historical preservation funding. 1.Stevens Library -$325,000 to rebuild lower front entrance to prevent flooding. 2.Scholfield Mill - $200,000 to replace compromised building foundation and supports. 3.Stevens Estate - (explained by director-Joanna Ouellette) - Electrical fixtures,Bathroom renovation on second floor - painting restoration Total request_____________ (The Stevens Estate has the promise of a possible $100,000 from a donor) IV. Stevens Estate Committee - Report from C.J. Gangi. 1. A survey is scheduled to go out to the community. 2. Stevens Committee members have contacted other similar properties in Bedford, Watertown etc. 3. There is a possibility that the revenue from the cell tower on the Stevens Estate property could be used for the Stevens Estate rather than going directly into Town funds. 4. Ellen Mosier, Chair of the Stevens Trustees Committee spoke about future plans for the Estate including a financial analysis done by a professional outside the Town. NOTE: Paul Hutchins, Building Inspector, attended the first part of the NAHC meeting...he mentioned the $200,00 request for the Scholfied Mill and also mentioned that requirements such as an elevator would not be necessary in that building. OLD BUSINESS I. Stevens Coolidge Estate - As of February 10,2020, the NAHC has received no response from the letter sent to Director Barbara Ericson in December,2019. The next meeting of the NAHC will be held on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 4pm in Town Hall.
