Meeting Minutes for Thursday, June 24, 2021 , 2021
I. Call to Order
a. Andrew Mitchell called meeting to order shortly after 7pm and assigned minutes to
himself
b. The meeting was held in the 2^d Floor Conference Room at Town Hall
II. Attendance
a. Members present: Andrew Mitchell, Joanna O'Connell, Kevin Dube, Kim Pass, Elizabeth
Guilbeault
b. Members not in attendance: Pranali Ashara, Julie Ross, Adrienne Goldman, Bryan
Sheckman, Jessica Pimentel, and Alvin Pimentel
III. Guest Speakers Greg Lane from Next Generation Strategies and Michael Lozano
from Trinity Financial will gave an overview of the Royal Crest Redevelopment
project and provide some details on some of the eco-friendly components of the
project.
IV. 2021 Earth Day Town-wide Cleanup
a. Recap things that went well and things we might change next year.
b. Kev— lots of trash and booze containers on 114
c. Joanna mentioned that we removed 19001bs of trash!
d. Off Beet—only got 2 signups
e. May need to talk to other communities that have curbside.
f. Communication was better this year.
g. Group agreed that the Middle School was a much better venue to run the event from
(versus DPW).
V. Joanna— Update on DEP Points and Green Schools Composting
a. Joanna—we're in good shape, she'll ask for help if needed
b. We have four schools to get back on-line when COVID situation improves and it's safe to
do so. We then have four schools to start the program at.
