Meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8~15 P.M. ~a~ the Town
Building. This was a Public Hearing.

Application was received from the First Methodist Church~ Ernest Stewar~
Trustee~ requesting a variance of the ~o~ By-Laws se as
addition to the existing church building~ the erection cf which will leave
the rear yard less than the 30 feet required in the present Zoning Laws.
Plans ef this addition were submitted to the Board.
Ernest Stewart was present and explained to the Board ~hat ~he erection of
this addition to the church would leave only 1S' 6" for the rear yard, but
that this would be ample space to accom~date fire fighting equipment and
such. He stated that this addition would be used for a church school and
audAtorinm; Mr. John A. Valtz, of Lynn~ Architect for the church, explained
the plans to the Boarde There was nc opposition to this applicatione
After taking the case under advisement~ the Board discussed this matter and
after a general discussion~ VOTED -n~-~m~usly to grant the variance. The
abbutters were duly notified and this hearing was publishing in the Tribune
on the ,weming of December 1, 1951. This variance was granted under Article VI
section 1-(a) and (b).
Mc~ion was then made and seconded and it was voted +~ ask for a $200.00 for
the Bcard,s 1952 apprepriation. It was also voted to instruct the clerk for
the Board to buy necessary supplies.
Motion was made and seconded and it was VOTED to adjourn at 9.'45 P.M.
