Secretary, Peter Ritchie and Edwin Reinhold.. ~ There were no applications +~ be considered by %he Board at this meeting. A general discussion was held. Motion was made and seconded and it was voted to adjourn the meeti~ at 9zOO P.M. Secretary Clerk. April 13, 1953 The meeting was called to order by the Secretaryj Richard G. Whipple at 8:10 P.M. in the Town Building. This was a PUBLIC HEARING. Members present: Richard G. ~¥hipple, Edwin Reinholdj Peter ~itchie and associate members~ Dom-ld F. Smith and Benedict Perrone. An application was received from Harold R. Boynto~ requesting a variance of the Zoning By-Laws of the Town so as to permit the erection of a dwell_lng on Osgood~ Street~ the side yards of which would not meet the present requirements of the By-Laws. All abbutters were notified of this hearing. Mr. Boyneton was present and~ explained, to the Board that this was originally a small lot and that he had bought an addition strip of land to enlarge it but even then he could not meet the 15 foot side yard req~Lrement. He also stated that the lot was at a right angle to the street but was irregular as it neared the back~ due to the fact that the abutter who sold btm the extra piece of land ~ished to reserve some of the back land in order to keep some shrubbery which was located there. ~ · There was no opposition to this application. Motion was then made and seconded and i%~was voted to take the matter under advisement. After discussing the above application a motion was made and seconded and it was unanimously voted to grant the variance to Mr. Boynton. Mr. Smith voted in place of Mr. Lurid and Mr. Perrone in place of Mr. Alvinc.
