M. by the Chairman. ~e~hers present werel Mr. Finek, ChairmA~ Mr. Boegliu, ~r.' ~icetta~ Mr. Lund and associate member Benedict Perrone in the absence of Mr. Alvino. Mr. Chairman read the petition from Joseph Alesky 61 Ly~a~ Road concerning the old Boston & ~B~ Railroad Depot which he is now us!B8 for the manufacture of paper spools located on the south side of Sutton Street. Building Inspector, Martin Lawlor issued Mr. Alosky a permit for the property in question. Selectmen Arthur P. Kirk, and William I~nneran spoke in beb~l* of the Board of Selectmen express~ their favor of the petiti~. Mr. Nicetta moved that the variance be granted. Mr. Lm~d seconded this motion. It was ~na~ mO~l~e Mr. George Barkerca~d Mr. Cb~les Thomas appeared before the Board in connection with a Socony Nob~,l 0~1 ce~m~y gas station. Mr. Cb~.rman informed them the w~t%er will be taken up at our next Public Hearing whieh is ~eBx-,A~y 13. The meeting adjourned at 8:15 P. M. February 13, 1956 The meeting was called to order at 8:15 by the Chairman. Members present were: ~r. Finch, Chairman, Mr. Boeglin, Mr. Nicetta, Mro Lund and associate member Darrell Britton whom the Chairman designated in the absence of Mr. Alvino. A Public Hearing was held on the petition of George R. Barker, requesting a variaace of the Zoning-~rdinance with a request for the use of the land as a gasoline service station. The land is now zoned Agriculture. Mr. Charles Thomas appeared with Mr. Barker. Plans were ehowm to the Board Mr. Thoma~ stated that the engineers would probably have to eliminate one island with the amount of ' space they have. Mr. Finck questioned bU~ the bond was set up for the contractor. Mr. Thomas said that as yet nothing has been done in that line. Mr. Nicetta moved that the petition be taken under advisement. Mr. Boeglin seconded the motion. It was unanie~ua. Mr. Raymond Houghton appeared. This was also a Public Hearing. Mr. Houghton wishes a Class 3 Linense used car dealer with no building. Mr. Houghton told the Board he intends to use the lot to buy oars and Junk them and sell parts. The business would not be seen on the main road way at all. Mr. Micetta move that the petition be taken under advisement Mr. Lund seconded this motion, All in favor. Mr. Chaiman brought up that Mr. Houghton could have a building for storage, Mr. ~icetta moved that a building could be erected for ~ the storage of tools and equipment 12 by 16 feet not over 12 feet hight and one story. Permit to be renewed from year to year. Mr. Boeg4~ seconded this motion. All in favor. Mr. Chairman asked the Board if anyone felt that th~ gasoline ~ta~ion, would har~.th~ Mr. Nicetta said he would ]~he to ~able this for a xew oays. ar. AAma agrees
