Special Meeting
A .special raeeting of tine Beard cf ~t;~eals was held on Monday,
Feoruary 16, 19~9 at 7:~0_ ~?~ at the ~cwn ~Bu!ld~m~. r~:.~=' ~bers present
a~d vot~n6 were: Dan~ 1 T. C'Lear~% ~a~rman, DcmaId F. Smith,
W~li~a Morton, ~ociat~ M.e~nber and Coarle~ Foster
M~,~b~r. Mr. O'L~ary d~s~gnat,~d ]~r. ~lorton to sit i~ plac~ of

Atty. Randazzo appeared as counsel for ~. Carmelc Mar!on ~$hc
petitfoned for a side line variance on property at 141 Beverly Street.
It was brought out I.h~. Marine ow~d three lot~ of land totalling 1~0
f~et frontage and that b~ h~d d~v!ded the land ~nto two lot~ cf
72 1/2 feet each without first coming to the Board.
~-. 0'Leafy called the ]to~rd's atter~tlon that Nm-. Marine had not
come before the Board for th~ sub-division and he had asked for
a buil~3i~ port, it fro~a the Bu~ldir~g Ynspector but l~d been turned
,~cwn. ~0~. haricot bi,on c~a:e ',;~; ti:e Boated of Appeals for a variance
but was turned down but he still ccnti]:~ned 'to build tl~e h.~use without
the buildir~ permit.
Atty. Handazzo stated Mr. Marine had though't he had the approval
from the Board when he first appeared before the~ as there were no
objectors at the hearing.
Mm. Smith asked Mr. Marine how many houses he had built in the
past a~d was told "plemt~". Mr. SmJtin ther~ stated Mr, I~ari~o
knew a bu~ld~ng permit bad to be obtafned before a house could be
built.
Mr. Foster ~sked if tine water and sewerage were conr:,ected and was
told no ut~l~v;.es had been co~mecteo_o I-'~. Foster also ~s~ed
at)1 toxin,at;ely how much ~r~c;r.~ey h~d beerJ put into the house a~,d

Mr. }iarJno had a ¢ineck tocoverthe water connections but could not
