Special Meeting
A special meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Monday, ~.ugust 2~, 1959
at the Town Building, at 7:A5 PM.
Members present and voting were: Daniel T. O'Leary, Chairman, Charles Foster, Jr.,
Secretary, Howard Gilman, Robert Burke and Henry Lund.
discussion was held on the petition of Daniel 01enio requesting a variance on
totals~ea on a lot located at 52 01d ClArk S~eet.
Mr. Gilman moved to grant the variance. Mr. Lund seconded the motion. Unanimous
vote.
Mr. O'Leary read a letter he had written to the Board of Selectment regarS~ng
Csrmelo Marlo and what To~n Counsel had said about taking action against Mr. Marino.
The ~otel hearing was reviewed with Messrs. O'~eary, Foster, Gilman, Burke and Morley
taking part. Each section of the By Law on motels was discussed.
Mr. Burke suggested plans be given to the Fire and Police Chiefs for their examination.
The Board decided they would given the plans to the Chiefs and hsve another meeting
on Monday, August
bill for ~14.00 was signed for Mary Doherty.
