Executive Session: Disciplinary Action of Police Officer: Cancelled. LICENSING COMMISSIONERS: Liquor License Renewals: Deferred until 11/19/88 meeting. Application for a one-day liquor license at Osgood Hill Conference Center: On a~ motion by Mr. Salisbury, seconded by Mr. Crouch, the Board voted unanimously (5-0) to grant, the one-daFqiquor license to Lawrence General Hospital for a Holiday party to be held on December 10, 1988 from 8:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. at the Osgood Hill Conference Center. Motion made by Mr. Dugan, seconded by Mr. Crouch, the Board voted unanimously (5-0) to go back into regular session. Reserve Police Officer Interviews: Mr. Salisbury explained that the reserve officers selection has been increased from 4 to 5 in view of the fact that James Roche has failed to show. Members of the Board interviewed the following Reserve Police Officer candidates: - Steven R. Hutcheson, 72 Farrwood Ave., ~3, No. And. - Diane M. Peek, 1044 Salem St., No.~And. - Francis P. Byrne, 40 Fernview Ave., #8, No. And. - Gregg G. Herold, 25 Poor St., No..And. - Mary C. McConnell, 67 Pleasant St., Lawrence - Robert E. Hillner, 96 Farnum St., No. And. - Douglass R. Knight, P.O. Box 746, Salem, NH - John R. Heafey, 7 Peter St., No. And. - Charles M. Dichiara, 574 Salem St., N. And. - Andrew Dobson, 33 Davis St., No. And. Mr. Salisbury stated that another candidate, Sal Mosto, is tied with Hillner and Knight and should be brought in for an interview. He also stated that a letter was sent on December 2, 1988, to Civil Service regarding McCarthy who has filed an appeal. Chief Stanley stated the Board indicated they would have a reply three weeks from December 2, 1988: Mr. Dugan suggested the Board of Selectmen wait until they have heard from Civil Service. Board agreed to postpone any action until they have interviewed Salvatore Mosto and have received a reply from Civil Service re: McCarthy. Other Business: On a motion by Christine Smith, seconded by Kenneth Crouch, the Board voted unanimously:to send a letter of appreciation to the Police & Fire Departments regarding an accident on the corner of Magnolia Drive and Main Street. Bonds: $2m Tax Anticipation Bond: Mr. Ereolini made the follo~ving motion: '!That the sale of $2m of land acquisition bonds from the town be issued to the Mazarenko's. Bonds to be paya;~le on 12/1/89 for Sim and on 12/1/90 for $1m. Motion seconded by Christine Smith. Salisbury, Crouch and Dugan also in favor. (5-0) Members of the Board signed the Mazarenko bonds. On a;motion by Mr. Ercolini, seconded by Ms. Smith, the Board voted unanimously to withdraw the law suit regarding the Mazarenko property and that the document be held in escrow by the Town attorney pending the successful transfer of the property. (5-0) Adjournment: On a motion by Mr. Crouch, seoonded by Mr. Ercolini, the Board voted to adjourn the meeting at 12 midnight.
