Rr!_~_-_ stated that Chief Daw had refused to give him a key to get into the .office that has
been proposed to be an extension of the To~n Clerk.s office. As a .result, it is impossible
to get an estimate on ~hat the repairs ~uuld cost.
Special Parkir~ Permits:
Both the Highway Surveyor and Police Chief strongly recomme _-4 against establishing any
system with except.ohs. They have had very few problems with the way things are going
presently and recommend against changing the system of ,ll night par~tngoban.
EDA, Conference: ,. -,.
Regio~.~ Director indicated that he is almost 100% sure there ~l~ be a new xx~m~ of
and that the regulations ~ be revised. He also stated that if anyone had any specific
questions regarding their applications, they should s~ a letter to his office. Brian

Firefighter ' s Contract '~'~
Brian presented a copy of a proposed contract which is agreeable to the Firefighters with
one exception, "Personal Days." They want the last sentence deleted. If the Selectmen
agree to take out this last sentence and agree with the rest of the contract, the Fire-
fighters ~ll sign the contract. The Selectmen took the contract ,m~er advisement: and
authorized Brian to so notify the firefighters.
INSPECTOR'S BUDGETS:
Selec~uan Guthrie reported that he had attended
.his protest against request 'for increase ~n pay
the Personnel Board meeting.to register .
for the Wiring Inspector.' He also' reported
the ~!ding Inspector, O. Foster, is proposing to combine the budgets of R~ the _V~-pectors
into one budget. The Board has reservations on combining the three budgets and motioned
. that Brian contact Foster to ask why he wanted the budgets combined. Guthrie alBo stated
that Chief Daw had made an appearance' at the Personnel Board meeting requesting increase in
salaries of the Board of Fire ~ngineers. When Ohief Daw saw Selectman Outhrie at meeting,
he departed.
