Copy sent to Highway Surveyor and the Chief of Police and suggest setting up a safety meeting with the Ceta employees about once a month. Letter was received from Gev. Guthrie, John F. Coady, with Chairm~n Thmaas J. McEvoy presiding. The warrant and minutes were approved as submitted. SUTTON ST~ SCHOOL C~0SS!NG: Letter received from Safety Office D~shame and Chief Lawlor stating that, after arc,investi- gative count, they recommended that there is no need for a full *.ime crossing guard at this time in the area of Sutton ~ Main Streets. Copy of letter will be sent to complainant, Mrs. Charl'es Terry, 47 ~iver~iew Street. NO PA~EING BAN: It was voted to advertise the annual no parking ban on all streets.as of midnight, Decembe~il,i 1977 until March, 1978. ' ,Ban will be lifted on Christmas Eve and New Year's eve. Parking .ban will be advertised Wednesday and Thursday, November 30 and December 1, 1977. AccOUNTANT,S CLERK: To~m Accountant requested the Board's approval of the necessary requirements under Ch. 32,~ Sec. 91, as enumerated by the Essex County P~tirement Board's letter of August 31, 1~77 in order to pay Cecelia Sheehan for her' services. The Board voted unanimously to approve the employment of Cecmlia Sheeban, provided, that the employment does not exceed 720 hours as allowed by statute and that said approval is based upon the fact that an emergency did exist, a vacancy did exist, and no other person was available with the necessary skills or knowledge.,~ Copy of letter was sent to the Personnel Board. CONSERVATION COEEISSION: Cop. y of a summons served on the Conservation Commission received, and, as a preliminary was called for Thursday, December 1, Brian Su21ivan notified Acting Tow~ Counsel ~ho will meet with Conservation Commission on the matter.' Letter from Patricia Trembly requested that she be re reappointed to the Conservation Commission to allow her to attend to the above-named matter. Selectman Guthr~e made a motion to rescind the previous action of the Board,accepting her nation from the Conservation Commission, and that mhe continue to serve on the Commission. Sel, ectman Coacly seconded the motion. : TOWN COb~SEL APPOINTMENT: It was voted to a~vertise for candidates for the position of Town Counsel to fill vacancy left lb~ ~t~h~e~sudd.e=n_.d..eat.h. of Arno.ld. H.. S~I. isbury, Esq., ~o had served as To~ Counsel for the past ~ .... ~pp-mca~mons mus~ ~e mn ~y December~16. Letters will be sent to the members o~the designated Committee to ~onvene in the Selectmen's Office on December 19th, at 7:00 p.m., to appoint a To~n Counsel to serve the remainde~ of this year's term 197.7.
