Guthrie, Thomas j McEvoy with Chairman John F. Coady presiding. The minutes and warrant were approved as submitted. ADVISORY BOARD: Approval received of request for transfer of monies to the Special Legal Account to. pay Special Counsel fees. POLE INSTAI~TIONS: Approved: Installation of 7 poles on So. Bradford St. and I pole on Stevens St. Hearing was set on petition to install 7 poles on Barker St. on January 23, 1978. , CML SERVICE: Letter received from Civil Service requesting an immediate reply regarding the indefinite suspension of Lagasse and Nicosia. Hearing was set up for January 25, 1978. Constable A~elrod will deliver notices, in person, to Lagasse and Nicosia. NOISE NUISANCE P~POE~: Report from Chief Lawlor stated that the noise nuisance complaint of Mr. DiFruscio's dog was investigated. DiFruscio stated that he had said some heated things to the Dog Officer but that it was a neighbor problem over nothing. He stated that he brings the dog in at night and will move the run to the other side of the house to keep the peace. Letter from John Willis, Esq. re Tmen Counsel,s duties and obligations. Notification of Housing Assistance Availability. Notice of legislative caucus, January 26, North Andover host. Articles received for annual Town Warrant. Ceta job requests received. Letter from MVPC re Environmental Study. Officials to meet. P. W. UNION RRIEVANCE: Re the grievance on call-ins, the Union has given the Board an extension of time until Thursday, January 19, to answer it. The first negotiating session is set for Thursday, January 19. FIRE CHIEF'S SALARY: Board voted to submit a petition to change the salary of the up-coming Fire Chief. Petition to change the By-Law and Article can be withdra~,n if the Board finds it is not necessary to change the By-Law. Voted that the Chief's salary be the minimum, $21, 984. LIC~{SN~G C0~SSIO~ERS: The Board voted not to renew the Restaurant, ~ ~lcoholic license of The Barn Door, Inc. d/b/a as Joey's until he has i~zlfilled his obligations to the Department of Corporations and Taxation and to the Board of Health. A cerbified letter will be sent to Joseph Clowers, and a notice of the Board's action to the Dept. of Corporations and Taxation and the ABC. Remewed: Common Victualer license for Messina's Industrial Catering, 311 Merrimack St., Law. Class I~ license for the Turnpike Texaco Service Station,~17!? Turnpike~St., N.A. ~.lice M.
