Highway Surveyor stated that he was working on it. GREENE STREET PARCEL: Upon request of Tax Collector, J. Dewhlrst, the Selectmen voted to approve the sale parcel of land owned by the Town on Greene Street with the stipulation that au easoment be m~intained for the Board of Public Works. CE~'A APPO~NTS: The Selectmen approved the appointment of ~illiam BOlan who ~rill assume the duties of Joe Kelley ~l~o will leave on Friday, Staff Assistant to the Adminmstrator.. ~ August 18, to asmmne a teaching pasitmono~a~4replaoed by James ,V~nngdy '~.o fill the position of Research Survey Analyst. Kemuedy will transfer from the Ceta position of Maintenance Cadet. Representative Joseph Herrmann and Senator Pollard appeared before the Board to discuss the amount of money allotted to the town of North Andover. Both Legislators agreed that the town was under-ihmded. They told the Board that they ~mu~d pursue the matter and would advise. SBfERAGE CHARGE: The rise in the cost of the above-named charge to the to~enspeople was discussed. Selectmen ~ study the matter and p~rsue it £urther. G~SDISTRiCT: Proposed r~les and regulations for user charges and industrial cost recovery for the Sanitary District were approved. L~TE BERNi~D BING;~I~: Selectman ;~cEvoy stated that a plaque was being prepared for the late Veterans Agent, Bernard Dingham, amd the dedication weuld take place in October. .~ 125 REFLECTORS: Selectman McEvoy requested the State be notified to install the reflectors on Rt. 125 requested months ago.
