Joyce with Chairman Ceady presiding. Selectman S~lisb~ was at school, Selectman NcEvoy was working. The warrant and minutes were approved as ~ submitted. JURORS: Jmmes M. Bingham, 701 Waverly Rd. and William A Theriault, 57 Furber Avenue were drawn for. Jury duty, at Salem, for the December 4 Sitting. Pauline Dowries, 371 Stevens Street and Willimm J. Sheply, 357 Osgood Street, were drawn for jury duty at Iawrence for the December 4 Sitting.' BOILER REPOR~: ~ Armual boiler report stated that the boilers in ~he Town Hall, Fire Station and Stevens Public Library needed adjustments. Copies ~11 be sent to the Fire Chief and Stevens Library Director for correction of the boilers, a report to be sent back to the Board whau completed. CML DEFENSE APPOINTMUE,~: At the request of John Coco, Steven M. Schubert, 44 Royal Crest Drive, was appointed an Auxiliary Policeman/ Special Officer in the North Andover Civil Defense Agency. BO~0ND STREE~: Letter received from Mrs. ~m. F. Tompkins, 557 Boxford St. requesting Speed Signs on Boxford St~ Letter referred to Safety Officer for investigation and report. ANIMAL INSPECTOR: R. E. Atwood, DVM, 45 Nilk Street, was appointed Animal Inspector to f~.11 vacancy caUSed by the death of Dr. Edward C. Bulger. BURIED CABLE: Petition approved to install direct buried cable on Salem Street. CHAPTER 88 FUND: Check in the amount of $7,000. received from the Board of Public Works to reconstruct Street. Check from the Desun Corporation w~ ~ 1 be added to the Chapter~ 88 Fund, for ~pairs necessitated by thc rep!aoem~nt of an old 6-inch cast iron water main. Brian to investigate.. CABLE TV CONTRACT: After considering the report of the Cable AdvieoryCommittee and the co~ents made at the Public Hearing on October 16, 1978, and after reviewing the proposal submitted by Continental Cablevision of New Hampshire, Inc., it is moved that the Board approve and accept the company's preposal as modified by this Board and to issue a provisional CATV license to Continental Cablevision of New Hampshire, Inc.
