Present were Selectmen McEvoy, Salisbury, Joyce w~th Chairman Graham presiding. The minutes and warrant wet approved as submitted. JURORS: Jurors drawn for the following towns Salem Superior Criminal Court - Newburyport Superior Court - Salem Superior Court - for the January 4 Sitting: Jane F. Cadarette, 81 Lisa Lane Daniel A. Abate, 30 Johnson St. Margaret M. Card, 28 Wood Ave. Martha Randall, 54 Sylvan Terrace TABLED UNTIL NEXT MEETING: Personel Board re: labor relations service. Application for appointment as Cozstable - referred to Chief Donnelly. ParkingClerk. FUNDING - COUNTY ADVISORY BOARD: Selectman Joyce advised the Board that the County Advisiory Board has appropriation control over the County budgets for the first time this year. However, there is no money in the year's budget to hire a staff person to help them review next .year's budget requests. The Advisory Board is request~ ing all communties to chip in to hire a staff person. North Andover's share is $352.35. It was an unanimous vote to offer North Andover's share' of the expense~ ZEROXMACHINE: Brian Sullivan advised the Board that there was widespread dissatisfaction with the first floor copy machine. Complaints received that it isn't service properly or enough, that copies are terrible most of the time, that some of the people using it donot~use it properly. After discussion, Brian was requested to look at alternatives of having another machine. It was also brought up that a member of the personnel concerned should be placed in of the machine.to ensure it being serviced properly and on time.. QPENZNG: The Selectmen voted unanimously to open the warrant for submission of article. for ~he annual Town Meeting, af 7:45 P.M., this date. No date was set for the_closing of the warrant. DOG OFFICER COMPLAINT: Mar§o TUrano appeared before the Boar~to complain about the way she was treated when her dog brohh~:loose on Thanksgiving Day, When she called the Dog Officer to ask if he had seen her dog he replied in the negative. He Call~8 her to check on a dog ~e thought was hers four: days later but when she went to the pound to identify him, the dog, in question, was not hers she fouhd her dog there..'.the dog officer had impounded him on the same day ' he got loose, November 26th, but did not tell her. They wanted her to pay for seven days but she ended up paying $35.00. The Board voted to have Brian call the Dog Officer in for an explanation. LICENSING COMMISSIONERS: A~roved for renewal of licenses: Commonv Victualer: Demoula's Market, Cumberland Farms, Znc, Star Pizza, Mr. Donut Shop. Coin operated machines: K. of C. Association,. ~nc., Star Pizza. Taxi Cab: Edward Provissia. Class II: Giard's Auto Service, North Andover Tulsa Station,~ Gr. Pond S Center. WINE & BEER LICENCE APPLICATION: Application received from proprietors of Jimmy's Famous Fizza, 1591 Osgood Street, for a wine and beer license to be drunk on the premises. A hearing ' was set for Decomber 21, 1981, at 7:30 P.M. To be advertised, abutters notified, recommendations from Police Chief, Building Inspector and Board Health.
