Graham, Ralph R. Joyce, R. Louis DiFruscio with Chairman Thomas J. McEvoy presiding. Selectman Salisbury absent. The minutes and warrant were approved as submitted. COUNTY FUNDING: Letter received from the Essex County Economic Development Corporation ad- vising the Board that the Matching Funds Committee had reviewed all proposa1 from cities and towns and were allocating funds by population. North And~ Will'be allocated the sum of $2,675 for FY82 which will be used for industri 'al promotion projects. The money must be spent or under contract by June 30 /~1982. Board voted to receive the letter. STUDY COMMITTEE: The Board discussed the article passed at Town'Meeting that a study commil of five residents be appointed to investigate and make recommendations con- cerning the advantages or disadvantages of changing or modifying the organ- izatfona% structure and relationships between the Highway, Public Works and Tree'Departments, so as to provide for the maximum possible coordination and use of available equipment and manpower. The Board voted to authorize the Highway Surveyor, the Board of Public Works and the Tree Warden to each name one resident to said committee, and authorized Brian to advertiRe for two candidates to be appoint~d to the committee. At the next annual Town Mee the committee will submit its recommendations resulting from the study. "BRIDGES"SUBDIVISION GIFT: The Board voted unanimously to accept the sum of $50,000 from the trustees ofthe ET AL Realty Trust, John Burke, Ralph Ciardiello and James Philbin, The~'money will .be used to install a water main for a subdivision known as "The Bridges" located off Foster Street, which will consist of a single- family residential dwellings. CHURcH ,ST.: Residents of Church Street appeared before the Board to report various acts Of vandalism of their cars since a street light was taken out. The Ghairmam advised them that the Board would view the damage done to the cars. LICENSING COMMISSIONERS: CHINA BLOSSOM ENTERTAINMENT: Arty: Robert F. Kelly a~d Mrs. Richard Yee appeared before the Board on behalf of their application to engage entertainers in the form of two or mbrecmembers of a band to pIay on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Attorney Kelly stated that proper dress would be required and, as always, a policeman would be in attendance.
